Poker Open- Live on Sky Channel 846
The centre piece of Sky Poker's daily schedule is a special Texas Hold'em tournament that is televised live every night at 9pm on Sky Channel 846. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday it is The Open. On Monday's we have the Bounty Hunter where there are 5 £50 bounties up for grabs. On Sunday's it's the £12k Showdown where you can take on the studio panel, each will have a bounty on their head which includes £50 as well as entry into the next Showdown

STEVE BEST - COMEDIAN
Immature and proud of it, Steve Best is a clown for the new age. Likened to a young Steve Martin, Best manages to combine brilliant material with a genuine talent for visual humour that never falls into slapstick. His act can feature anything from blowing up a woman and eating balloons to drilling into his own eyeball or pulling handkerchiefs out of a fake backside. An excellent guitarist, he is also fluent in the ever popular Serbo-Croat language.
Steve has performed in Hong Kong, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Italk, Greece, Ireland and the Channel Islands, and is a regular on the nationwide and London comedy club circuit. He has also performed on bills alongside the likes of Frank Skinner and Craig Charles, and has made several television appearances on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the UK. He headlined "Big Value Comedy" and "Steve Best... is Immature" at the Edinburgh Festival. He has toured with Omid Djalili and also co-founded Abnormally Funny People (a group of highly talented disabled comedians - www.abnormallyfunnypeople.com) in 2005.
This is Steve's fifth appearance on The Open. His best placing was 160th out of 600 and his worst appearance was 411th out of 467.
ADDY VAN DER BORGH - COMEDIAN
Addy van der Borgh has that rare talent of making people laugh as soon as he walks on stage. He is a great performer of highly acclaimed and original material, an ability noticed immediately by the BBC when he appeared on the ‘Stand-up Show' (BBC1) after only one year as a comedian. He has subsequently appeared on ‘Live at Jongleurs' and ‘The World Stands Up' for Sky TV and the BBC3 series from Baby Cow Productions, 'Brain Candy'. He has also written and co-presented twenty episodes of 'TV Meltdown' for Sky 1 with Kirsty Gallacher (2004 / 2005), has acted in a number of voiceovers for radio and television and has appeared on many radio shows including the legendary ‘Loose Ends' on Radio 4. Addy recently played the starring role of ‘Jack Watson' in his first film, ‘Little Things' for Pandelic Films.
Addy was the only British comic that was invited to appear in the Twentieth Century Fox Comedy Showcase in Los Angeles in September 2003 and was subsequently signed to the Hollywood agents Paradigm. Addy studied clowning and physical theatre at LAMDA and with brilliant timing and an array of voices and characters he is well known for his animation of inanimate objects and his wonderful physicality. A truly exciting and original comic, Addy has built a following of fans not just in all the major clubs in Britain (Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Banana Cabaret, Up The Creek, The Glee) but also worldwide, including Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Croatia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Dubai, Bahrain, Muscat, Qatar, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Shanghai and Australia. He has also performed complete sell out runs at the South Africa Comedy Festival in Cape Town (2002) and the New Zealand International comedy Festival in Auckland (2006) as well as writing and performing three sell out one man shows at the Edinburgh festival (2000, 2002, 2004).
Addy's best performance on The Open was 67th out of 400 players.
